System Overview

The next generation AC Drive for commercial treadmill application, RM6T2 series are available for 100 VAC and 200 VAC input voltages.


Features

1.Intelligent Thermal Control and Fan Operation
   Heat Protection Level is selectable in parameter setting.
   Fan operation is controllable based on ambient thermal condition.

2.UL (508c) and CE Certificated for RM6T2 Series. (File NO.E321023)

3.Fast connectors for all terminals

4.Integrated Dynamic Braking with “Smart OV Protection” Feature.
   In the event of input voltage exceeding normal +10%, dynamic braking is temporarily disabled to stop
   the DB resistor from indefinite overheating. A patent pending “Smart OV Protection” feature.
   Back driving resistant design, even without a dynamic brake resistor.

5.Built-in Console Power of 24W.
   MOLEX RJ45 for less than 1.5A@25℃ derated to 0.2A maximum at 70℃ ambient.
   Auxiliary terminal (DINKLE Part#5ESDV (2ESDV)) for 12VDC, 2A-w/rated current of 15A@300V.

6.Built-in Incline Motor Control
   Incline position feedback interface: VR analog signal, Photo-mask digital signal, 2 Limit switch.

7.Detection of Input Voltage Fluctuation vs. Motor Regeneration.

8.Integrated RS232 Communication interface for
   Console Communication
   Status Feedback: Motor Speed, Incline Level, Protection Messages…etc.

9.Optional Service Boot-Loader capability via externally accessible connector for software updates.

10.Single Phase Input / Three Phase Output.

11.100 VAC and 200 VAC operations are selectable.
     100~120 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz for 100 VAC model.
     200~240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz for 200 VAC model.

12.Input power connector: TKP Series#P10M1L-03, gold plated tip for oxidation hazard prevention.

13.Output Frequency Up to 400 Hz.

14.IP20 chassis and cover
     Approved plastic material for chassis and cover (UL94-V0)
     Drive safety features in the event of an IGBT failure.
     Over current fault: Immediate disabling of the gate driver resulting in an OPEN CIRCUIT of the DC
     BUS and producing no conductivity in the inverter section.

15.Emergency Stop
     IGBT gate can be disabled by
    -Serial command from the console; Reset by console E-Stop Reset Command.
    -Direct voltage signal from the emergency stop button to a photo coupler, bypassing the CPU; Reset
     by E-Stop Switch.

16.Additional Special Treadmill Protections:
    Output Short Circuit Protection.
    Output Over Current Protection.
    Output Ground Fault Protection.
    Output Motor Lead Connection Protection.
    Over Voltage Protection.

17.Optional Features
     Foot Fall Detection

Step Counting function is available depending on the users’ weight range of treadmill design.
