Energy Saving for Rubber/Plastic Injection System

Energy Saving for Rubber/Plastic Injection System

Basic principle

A hydraulic pump occupies over 75% of the total power consumption. Although the amount of oil applied by a hydraulic pump is fixed, the demand for oil during the injection process varies. Most of the high-pressure hydraulic oil flows back to the hydraulic system via the overflow valve, resulting in energy waste. By installing inverter technology, power consumption can be significantly reduced, and production efficiency can be improved.

Advantage

1. Save up to 25-60% of total power consumption and improve production efficiency.

2. Reduce the starting current of a motor.

3. The hydraulic oil temperature obviously drops by 5~15℃, extending the lifetime of the oil seal and reducing the consumption of cooling water.

4. Enable smooth starts to reduce hydraulic pressure impact. Effectively reduce noise and equipment failure rates.

5. Shorten the production cycle and increase productivity under specific molding conditions.

6. After installing the drive, the operational process remains the same as before.

Efficiency

Taking a 40HP installed PI5 as an example.

Save approximately 38,304 kWh of energy per year. Reduce approximately 25,280 kg of CO2 emissions per year. Save approximately 10.3 million NT dollars per year.
